Microsoft Outlook is a popular email client on desktop and on mobile devices. This article gives you steps to add your email account to Outlook in Mobile. If you want to add your email account to Outlook Desktop, click on the article below:

 

Step 1: Ensure that your email account exists. If you need help on creating an email account, please read these articles:

 


Step 2: Open Outlook. Obviously :)

 

 

Step 3: Click on the mail icon in the top left corner.

 

Step 4: Click on the settings icon in the bottom left corner.

 

Step 5: Click on “Add mail account”

 

Step 6: Click on “Add an email account” at the bottom of the pop up.

 

Step 7: Click on “Continue”

 

Step 8: Type in your email account and click on the “Continue” button. In our example, we’re adding Jesede’s hello@ mailbox.

 

Step 9: Select the “POP” option.

 

Step 10: Fill in the information as shown in the image below but replace jesede.com with your domain name.

  • For example, if your domain is ubuntu4all.co.za, your incoming and outgoing mail server will be: mail.ubuntu4all.co.za.
  • The port for incoming mail is 995
  • The port for outgoing mail is 465
  • Note: Be sure to tick the checkboxes as shown in the image below.
  • Note: Your POP and SMTP usernames will be the same as the email address you are adding.
  • Click on the check icon at the top right hand corner after filling in all your information.

 

Step 11: If there is a Login Error popup, click on “Login.”

 

Step 12: Voila! Your mail account should be added and reflect in Outlook.
